This little beauty from 680 The Fan in Atlanta might have ripped off “Chuck Norris Facts” pretty hard, but that doesn’t make this any less enjoyable, especially if you’re a Braves fan. If you don’t know the story of Braves catcher Evan Gattis by now then clearly you don’t watch a lot of baseball.
The now 26-year-old rookie who spends his night murdering baseballs into the sky was once a highly touted college player, had a mental breakdown, and left the game forever. For years he wandered the Earth, subsisting solely on the meat of 10 point bucks and the blood of mountain lions. He was a janitor, he smoked a lot of weed, he might have lived in a van, and I think at one point, after a series of fights to the death and thanks to his own natural brute strength, he became King of the Hobos in east Texas. Honestly there’s so much legend and myth surrounding Evan Gattis that it’s hard to tell what’s true anymore. Thankfully 680 The Fan clears it up for us. Give it a listen, it’s pretty damn funny.
