Popular Tex-Mex chain Tijuana Flats (more like MARIjuana WRAPS, amiright??) recently introduced its first limited-time, get-them-before-they’re-gone item: a line of stoner-themed burritos wrapped in hemp tortillas.
From Elite Daily:
The three burritos are called the Pie Roller, the Tree Hugger and Sweet Hemptation. Pretty clever, huh?
Oh, and they only come in one size — “megajuana.” There’s nothing like bridging the gap between delicious Mexican cuisine and stoner references. They go hand-in-hand!
Now, I’m not a smoker–the only thing I’ve ever inhaled were bullies’ farts in high school–but these legal “burrweedos” sound pretty freakin’ delicious.
First, the Pie Roller features pepperoni, red sauce, cheese, fajita peppers, onions and mushrooms. That wasn’t enough, so it’s also topped with red sauce, pepperoni and cheese.
Second on the menu, the Tree Hugger features roasted poblanos, mushrooms, onions, cilantro, scallion, cream cheese, tortilla chips, cheese and queso.
And lastly, Sweet Hemptation includes crispy chicken, chopped churros, cinnamon sugar, maple syrup, queso, cheese and bacon — yum!
At the reasonable price of $8.40 each–I assume this is because the price is $4.20 doubled–this burrito could be worth a try. As good of a drunk food as these burritos would make, most Tijuana Flats locations close by 10 on weekends. Looks like I’ll have to stick to my usual poor college student drunk food of choice: toothpaste.
Tijuana Flats is about to be stoner central.
Stoner? I barely know her!
