Time for an addendum on Champ Tour’s House business is house business code of conduct reminder: Keep house business off of Facebook.
The publicizing of a fraternity’s private Facebook group that students are calling sexist and vulgar has caused an uproar at Willamette University, sparking an official investigation, a protest and vandalism on Monday.
The group’s members discussed drinking, secret parties, hazing pledges, and women on campus — including female faculty members.
One group member posted that people should forcefully kick Lisa Holliday, the school’s director of student activities, in her genitalia because she was questioning the fraternity about its initiation week activities.
Another member posted that “woman’s rights are the biggest joke in the US” and threatens to “beat” a female student who got into an argument with another member.
