Impressive wild animals doing impressive shit in the wild is my jam. Just yesterday, we brought you the story of a moose terrorizing the streets and clobbering anyone in its path in Alberta.
Today we have footage from a front porch security camera that shows a mountain lion dragging a deer carcass away.
The only thing that makes this video better is if that was a lifeless human being dragged away. It’s still a cool video, but it’s not video of the year type stuff. And it’s not that I want to see an innocent person lose his or her life by the razor sharp teeth of a lion, but it definitely adds to the intrigue factor, no?
Now, I’m not talking about some 5th grader walking home from school in the snow getting snatched up while walking up his driveway to the waiting arms of his mother. But maybe a pretentious bicyclist who uses the road like a car or one of those sign dancers on the corner. No one is missing either of them. Replace this deer with a spandex wearing 45-year-old man with monster calves leaving a smeared trail of blood behind, and this video is a national headline.
