Not a lot to intro here so I’m just going to let this description and video from Mizzou Beta Theta Pi take it away.
A few weeks ago, the men of Beta Theta Pi were informed that the wife of our chef, Scott, became seriously ill due to infections in her blood, affecting her vital organs and abdominal area. Family, alumni and current members came together and raised over $10,000 to support Scott and his family. Not only has he been a part of the Beta family for 7 years, he has managed to care for his wife while putting food on the table for 100+ grown men each night.
On a personal note, it is truly a blessing to see something so amazing in the midst of all the negativity surrounding Greek Life at Mizzou. Thank you to all of those who made this happen and for bringing such joy to Scott and Diane.
If Scott and Diane need any more money, Beta, keep in mind that you could also start renting out your
god-tier frat mansion house for events. You know, Christmas parties, weddings, governor’s balls, state dinners, smaller award shows, the set for Bruce Wayne’s country estate in Ben Affleck’s upcoming Batman movie. Simple stuff.
In all honesty, this is incredible. Good on you Beta. And from everyone here at TFM (even our morally bankrupt commentariat), best of luck to Scott and Diane..
