You have to dress to impress. Those who are truly willing to go the extra mile to dress for an occasion are those who usually succeed. Keep in mind, I said usually.

A Kansas City man was arrested yesterday at a bar while wearing a stolen chicken costume. While this may seem obscene to some of you, in his defense, it was Wing Night. I view his attire selection as acceptable apparel.

His night began down the street at a costume shop. Unable to put together a suitable outfit for a drunken Wing Night, the man took a brick to the window of the store and escaped with a bright yellow chicken suit. The man changed into the costume and made his way to the bar. As any man proud of his newly acquired attire would do, he sat at the bar and proceeded to indulge himself with intoxicating liquids.

Some deadbeat must’ve called the cops, because after a while, the Kansas City Police Department put an end to the chicken man’s adventurous night.

From KMBC:

“It was just bizarre,” one bar patron visiting Kansas City from Canada said. “We came in and there was a guy sitting at the bar, and he was in a really weird bird feather costume, and we didn’t think too much of it, he was really quiet. And the next thing we know, 5 cops show up and they go to arrest him, they handcuff him, he fights them a little bit, and they just drag him out and take him away.”

As always, social media saved the day and gave us a picture of the prowling cock’s garb for the evening.

The clucking hooligan knew the game was up and gave the bar what might be one of the best pre-arrest solos of all time.

The man was soon picked up by police and brought to their coop downtown.

Keep your head up, bud. There are plenty of hens in this world. You may not have scored one tonight, but soon enough, you’ll find your prized, feathered female.
