Girlfriends give the worst advice. “Turn right here.” “Try this on.” “Don’t climb that.” No, I’m a man and I do what I want and it’s just a sprain.
Further supporting this sentiment, one man refused to heed his girlfriend’s callous advice that he needn’t buy a lottery ticket at a Michigan gas station, and now he’s $1 million bucks richer.
From ABC 7 Chicago:
“I stopped to get gas and the pump didn’t print out a receipt so I grabbed a couple of $5 winning tickets and went inside the store,” the man told the Michigan Lottery. “On my way in, my girlfriend told me not to buy any lottery tickets, but I didn’t listen. I bought one 50X The Cash ticket and paid for it with my two $5 winners.”
The man was forced to keep the tickets out of his girlfriend’s sight — possibly because he has a crippling gambling addiction and she cares about his well-being, possibly because he’s a whipped little bitch. He hunkered down in the bathroom to scratch his lotto ticket in complete secrecy.
“I scratched the ticket in the bathroom and thought I was having a heart attack when I saw it was a $1 million winner,” the man told the Michigan Lottery.
It’s a good thing he was right by a toilet when he won. I would’ve shit myself. What does the man plan to do with all that cheddar?
That’s enough money, he said, to take his girlfriend on the European dream vacation they’ve always talked about.
“We’ve always wanted to go to Scotland, and this will give us the opportunity to do that,” he said. “Maybe next time my girlfriend won’t be as skeptical when I’m feeling lucky and want to buy a Lottery ticket.”
What a guy.
Ladies, let this be a lesson to all of you. Trust us. We got this. .
