Man Attempts Bigfoot Prank, Gets Bounced Off Two Cars and Dies

A man in Montana threw on a military Ghillie suit (if you’re unfamiliar, those are the mossy looking camouflage getups so unnecessarily worn by the arresting cops in To Catch a Predator) to portray a Sasquatch on Sunday night. Ghillie suits definitely put off a major Bigfoot vibe, but unfortunately for 44 year-old Randy Lee Tenley, they also make you hard to identify, especially at night, you know, what they were designed to do.

Randy T., who may or may not be related to Randy Travis (yes, I’m still using Randy Travis jokes), walked out on the road in an effort to startle passers by and convince them of a Squatch sighting. He got clipped. Hard.

“He was trying to make people think he was Sasquatch so people would call in a Sasquatch sighting,” Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Jim Schneider said. “You can’t make it up. I haven’t seen or heard of anything like this before. Obviously, his suit made it difficult for people to see him.”

Randy got bounced off two cars and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was struck by a 15 year-old girl, then run over by a 17 year-old girl, both of which I can only imagine were jammin’ out to the Biebs and texting their besties when they looked up and saw the sloshed Randy T. doing his Sasquatch thing out on the road.

“Alcohol may have been a factor,” Schneider said.

Yeah, it may have been. Randy T., Darwin Award nominee.
