With another season of Curb Your Enthusiasm on the way and the continued yearly Brinks Truck deliveries through Seinfeld syndication fees, neurotic comedy genius and father of my crush, Larry David has a new career on his mind: NFL offensive coordinator.

David, an ardent Jets fan who has supposedly consulted with the Jets front office on actual draft picks (I’m serious) reiterated on the Dan Patrick Show his self-imagined ability to take the reigns of an NFL offense:

In fairness to the real life George Costanza, the Jets offense has vacillated between humiliating and pitiful since the infamous butt fumble, so maybe a guy like Larry could at least bring some imagination and creativity to the flailing “ground and pound” ghosts of Rex Ryan.

While essentially all of us with a gaming system and a semi-recent edition of Madden fashion ourselves a virtual coach, it’s reasonable to understand Larry’s grandiose ideas of NFL glory. Honestly, with the three-headed offensive monster in New York this season of Brandon Marshall, Matt Forte and…okay I can’t even complete this ridiculous sentence.

Go for it, Larry. I think it would be prettyyy, prettyyy, prettyyy good. Can’t be any worse than the Seinfeld finale, right?
