A Bar Where No Ugly Or Poor People Are Allowed In Is Opening In Los Angeles

The people behind the dating website are doing big things in Los Angeles. Managing Director Greg Hodge had been hearing too many complaints from their customers that going to a bar filled with ugly folks is just not a recipe for a good time. So his solution was simple: start a bar that is only accessible by good looking people.

From The Sun:

All member of the “hot people” only site will be given, priority entrance to the bar and table access.

Non-members and guests will be let in for drinks only if they pass muster with the on-site Beauty Police – a team of door pickers who allegedly have inside “knowledge” of the standards the site’s members expect.

However, if you’re not attractive enough, there is another way into the bar: money.

The MD is also happy to admit that some exceptions will be made if the potential entrant has enough money.

Hodge says: “Wealth is a strong factor of perceived attractiveness – especially with women.

I, for one, am all for this idea. In a sense, this is like when you deny some girls entrance to your parties. Sure, you don’t actually tell the girls that they are unattractive, you give them the ol’, “Sorry, we’re at capacity right now and we can’t let any more people in” as you let the group of hot girls walk right by. Nothing is worse than going to a bar looking to chase some strange and having the talent pool be shallower than you are. It’s almost worth packing it up and trying again the next day.

Not anymore, though. Now you can spend the night slinging drinks with hot people only. Only thing I’m upset about is that I didn’t think of this first. SJWs are going to be a little pissed, though.
