Fine, Cutler wasn’t smoking. I just don’t like to imagine him without a cigarette anymore.
But yes, Cutler did casually tell reporters when asked that he’s been on the Trump train for a while, and he’s glad it finally pulled into the station.
From CBS Chicago:
“I’m happy with the results,” Cutler said. “I’ve supported Trump for a while.”
I like to imagine Cutler said this as condescendingly as possible, giving the reporter a look that implied, “Who the fuck do you think I voted for?” And then, of course, took a drag. You know, the same level of hilarious and transparent contempt he often shows when drunk around his fans.
It wouldn’t shock me if the reporter was looking to get a hot take from Cutler. A real, “OMG look what this mean man said,” type quote. But all the reporter got was a “Yeah so what” and, I hope, Cutler daring him to make something more of it with a withering glare.
And it shouldn’t necessarily be surprising to learn that Cutler wanted to Make America Great Again anyway, especially given the fact that he hails from Vice President-elect Mike Pence’s state, Indiana.
Would you expect a gunslinger like Cutler to vote for anyone else?.
