If you’ve ever had your car towed, you’ve probably felt a similar level of irritation and frustration that ESPN reporter Britt McHenry was experiencing. Shit, my friend got his car towed once and I was frustrated because I had to drive his ass to the lot to grab it. But anyway, McHenry looks directly into the camera after she was told that she is being taped and still goes on a tirade against some poor woman just doing her job. Here’s the video:
Of course the classic, “Don’t you know who I am?” card is played. That’s a privilege you get when you’re on TV. But fuck, man. Those years on the Stetson soccer team really primed her chirping game. She undoubtedly made several opponents, and probably a lot of her teammates, cry with her demon-tongue. Shit, I’d probably cry if she spoke to me like that. The tears would mostly be because I’m not likely going to sleep with her if that’s happening. Full, cold-hearted bitch mode. Obviously the video doesn’t show anything before her tirade so maybe her verbal-sodomization of the employee was prompted by something, or…
I think we should also point out McHenry’s outfit. Messy bun? Check. Jacket zipped all the way up? Check (who even does that?). Irritable? Check. Based on the video evidence, my scientific conclusion is that Britt got hammered the night before, couldn’t drive home and her car got towed overnight. Then she wakes up with a God-awful hangover and finds out the location of her automobile. I had a bag lost on a trip once. I was in that “can’t tell if still drunk or very hungover” phase and I ruined the customer service rep’s day. I, along with with much of our reader base, can identify with your hardships, Britt.
“Because I’m on the fucking news…” Yeah, probably not for much longer though. Your move, ESPN. .
