Former Boston College RB Snitches On Football Program, Looks Like BC Is Gonna Keep Sucking Ass

It’s hard to go a day anymore without seeing breaking stories of a new school’s wild disregard for NCAA academic and/or recruiting policies. That’s why it’s unsurprising that news recently broke of a new recruitment infraction which has been kept under wraps for the last 22 years.

From Bleacher Report:

Former Boston College running back Jamall Anderson released a two-minute video showing alcohol being served and strippers present at a recruiting party at the university in 1995.

The video, obtained by TMZ Sports, shows then-underaged recruits taking shots and getting lap dances from strippers, presumably in hopes of landing the players’ commitments to the program.

“This 22-year-old video, which is alleged to have taken place at Boston College, depicts unauthorized and unacceptable behavior that does not reflect the culture of BC or the standards to which our student-athletes are held,” Boston College said in a statement.

That all sounds dope as hell. Tell me I have no morals, call me crazy, but I don’t care — shady, behind-the-scenes dealings to gain blue-chip recruits is just what BC needs to get their football program back from the gutter. There’s no disputing it: BC’s blatant disregard for NCAA policy is what launched them into a decade of semi-successful seasons. A healthy helping of liquor and strippers is a winning recipe which could very well bump them up from a disappointing 3-4 record so far this season.

Let’s hope they avoid sanctions (the statute of limitations has to be up, right?) and then bring back the violations.
