Some funny news comes out of northern Virginia today as two perps broke into a home, threw a rager, played a game of beer pong, then stole two cars parked in the driveway. It was a crime of passion. I mean how much of a beer pong fiend do you have to be to risk getting caught amid committing a felony to fit a game in? It’s not like a game of pong can be wrapped up in three minutes, you know.
From the official report:
BURGLARY, 07/22/12, 5500 block of S. 7th Street. On July 22, unknown subject(s) gained entry to a locked residence and played beer pong. The subjects left the residence in disarray, then took the victims two vehicles. There is no suspect(s) description.
These guys were most likely pros, pros with an unrelenting need to drink beer and toss pong balls. My question is this: did these guys break in to steal shit and happened upon an incredible, irresistible beer pong table with beer ready to go, then decided to steal the cars? Or…did they hear about the home’s bad ass beer pong game and broke in specifically to use it, then happened upon some car keys as they were inside, and took the cars as means to escape?
So many questions.
I’d suggest questioning the residents of nearby bottom-tier fraternity houses. It’s like they’re criminals with a desire to rage. And pong. Rumor has it the victims’ surrounding neighbors are switching to flip cup to deter further criminal activity.
