VIDEO: Bo Jackson Talks About Running 4.13 40-Yard Dash

The NFL combine is coming to a close as the last of the groups ran their forties today. Out of all the participants, no one ended up breaking Chris Johnson’s record of a 4.24 time from 2008. Officially, Johnson holds the record for the fastest 40 time at the combine ever. However, the great Bo Jackson is the real record holder when he ran a 4.13 at the 1986 combine.

Turns out, he almost didn’t even run the damn thing because he had to get to track practice. Earlier today, he caught up with ESPN to discuss the day it all went down.

If I am Bo, I’m going with the stopwatch time whenever I tell the story at a bar. A 3.9 sounds a lot cooler than the 4.13. Still, though. Bo was fast as fuck.
