Earlier today, we received the following tip about a possible feud brewing between Texas A&M’s Corps of Cadets and fraternities:
Blood Feud arises at Texas A&M between the corps and fraternities. After a member of BYX was elected to be a member of the Yell Leaders, a positions typically given to members of the corps of cadets, signs were posted all over campus degrading members of Greek life
The tipster then sent us the following photos of the posters that have been posted around campus.
Seems like a petty attempt at making fun of Greeks. Rumors are running around that the Corps is not behind this and that someone is putting their logo on these signs.
The Corps of Cadets logo shouldn't be on those things. Making a joke is one thing, but don't try to frame the oldest organization at A&M.

Hearing @Mugdown is trolling the A&M campus with a bunch of signs.. Mean while the corps is blaming each other. Well played

For those who don’t know, Mugdown is A&M’s satirical newspaper. I don’t know if these two guys are in the Corp or not, so take these words with a grain of salt. A friend of mine at A&M told me that there are anti-everything signs popping up in the midst of all this. She also gave me some screenshots of their Yik Yak going wild.
He does have a point. Those New Balances were solid. Whatever is going on over in College Station is getting out of hand. We’ll update the story as more information becomes available to us.
The Mugdown has taken full responsibility for the signs.
Late Wednesday night, we carried out a project that has been in development for months—a collection of posters portraying propaganda for the Corps of Cadets which were arranged throughout campus. Hours went into crafting the images, deciding which pieces were fit to print and would best advance the intended message, and which order would maximize the message value.
This is not an apology.
Fuck you and your anti-Greek shit, Mugdown..
